Vonbrucken a écrit:what the point with generating rex2 (unless you use only Reason ) as softs as Kontakt 2, Halion,Phatmatik pro , fl slicer loads .zgr files ..
What the point when you can export your slices and grooves to :
ZEX To be used in various ZEX players (Massiva etc)
acidized wav
SoundFont2
sfz
TRK (Mixman .trk )
MAP ( Reaktor, Dynamo etc )
LM4 (LM4 compatible VST drum machines)
FL Studio
REX (1)
RECYCLE cannot compete here , and for the same price of REcycle you can get BeatQuantizer !
see here for more infos :

Propellerhead Software will issue licenses to companies in the audio or music industry interested in creating commercial ReWire applications.
There are no costs involved. Propellerhead Software will administer the authorization, copyrights, logos and trademarks. The company will also provide the licensee with technical support, free of charge.
Due to the legal aspects of the agreement you need to have a registered company in order to qualify as a ReWire developer. We do not allow private persons, schools, or companies in other types of businesses, to become licensors.
REX2
There has been alot of rumours about REX2 now being an open file format, open source etc.
None of this is true.
Before we step on some sensitive toes, please note that we are not saying that Propellerhead Software claimed it was true. We are just saying that, according to the huge number of emails requests we have received about rex2 export , tons of people obviously misinterpreted Props press release.
The fact is that Propellerhead Software have made it possible for any company to apply for a REX2 Import license. We have done so and received the sdk.
It is not source code explaining the rex2 file format though, it's "simply" a dll (a program) that our software can use to import rex2 files. There is no information about how to export to rex2 and according to Propellerhead's web site they do not plan to release any such information either (unfortunately!).
We have implemented REX2 Import
BeatCreator 3 and BeatQuantizer support import of rex, rx2 and rcy.

) Vonbrucken pour toutes tes lumières bien renseignées !
