Our customer care policy
We have noticed news about an audio software producer who announced cease of finalizing a version of their host-software. They use a closed forum that requires serial registration, this forum only seems to be based on users supporting eachother and then getting direct support from the developer is being complained about the very low response rate, if users get a response at all.
Can you believe this software-producer asks a lot of money for their product and return above type of care?
Registering Renoise involves more just than that you get a license to use our product:
Full support either by mail or on our forums, by our users, but also by our team members and even our developers really actively participate on the forums regardless if dealing with registered or demo users.
You get to download updates up to a full version (1.x to 2.x) without having to purchase an update license when a major version is being released. (some users registered over four years ago and still enjoy our upgrade program!)
We don't use closed forums that require proof of license ownership, everybody can register and request support, even our demo product users.
Active implementation of ideas based upon user input: Users that submitted ideas through our forums during our current running 1.8 beta program have resulted in 30 extra changes/addons.
Where do you get all this?
We do have a closed voting-round in the specific user areas where registered users may vote large changes, addons and upgrades for the next major release of Renoise.
Is EUR 49,99 (65 USD) too much asked for all this? Or too good to be true?
You can try our demo almost to it's full extend without limitations (except rendering and ASIO), then also register on our community forum and experience the ambiance and support there yourself.
We don't ask or presume anything from you, besides testing this experience freely.
